Privacy Policy

CanopyBid is an offline-first estimating application for tree-service crews. This policy explains the data needed to operate the app and how you can request access or deletion.

Data you create

Estimates may contain customer names, contact details, property addresses, notes, photos, pricing, signatures, and generated PDF paths. The app stores this work on your device first.

Connected workspace

When you use a connected account, your workspace syncs to CanopyBid’s self-hosted backend on a Hostinger VPS. The backend uses a separate CanopyBid project and per-user permissions. It is not Appwrite Cloud.

Purchases and analytics

RevenueCat processes subscription status using a pseudonymous app user identifier. PostHog receives product-interaction events used to understand app reliability and the estimating funnel. CanopyBid does not sell customer or crew data.

Retention and deletion

You can start an account-deletion request from Settings or contact us by email. After a deletion request is successfully processed, account-owned backend records and files are removed and the local workspace is cleared. App Store subscriptions are managed separately by Apple and are not cancelled by deleting a CanopyBid account.
